- Canadian hosting: analytics data is processed on infrastructure under our control in Canada. No transfers to third-party advertising platforms.
Types of cookies we use
We prioritize data minimization and do not use third-party cookies. The categories below reflect our current practice:
- Strictly necessary cookies (in use): essential for site operation (session, security, language, cart). They cannot be disabled in our systems without affecting core functionality.
- Performance cookies (not in use): we do not set cookies for analytics. Our analytics (Matomo) runs without cookies and without profiling.
- Functionality cookies (not used unless essential): we avoid non-essential personalization cookies. Certain preferences may still be maintained via mechanisms required for the service.
- Targeting/advertising cookies (not in use): we do not conduct interest-based advertising or retargeting and do not share data with advertising networks.
Managing cookies
You can manage cookies directly in your browser (block, delete). Disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair core features (login, cart, forms).
- Browser settings: most browsers provide fine-grained cookie controls.
- Extensions/tools: you may block or remove cookies based on your preferences.
- Do Not Track: if you enable the DNT signal, our Matomo configuration respects it.
- Analytics opt-out: an “Analytics Opt-out” control may be available in the footer or Privacy Center to exclude your visits from Matomo analytics.
In all cases, we do not set analytics or advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. Our goal is straightforward: deliver a reliable, secure service that respects your privacy.

Laseo embraces a Canada-centric approach to data protection: our analytics are processed locally, under our control, and are not shared with U.S. “big data” companies. We favor transparency, data minimization, and the absence of advertising profiling.
